The full blog post is here! With absolutely no offense intended to any of my past weddings, I have to say that this is my favorite blog post I’ve ever put up. I am so, so proud of these pictures and I owe it all to RJ and Elizabeth who exuded so much happiness throughout the day that it couldn’t help but come through in all the pictures. They were both beaming the entire day, and their love brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for hiring me, you guys, and I wish you years and years and years of the same smiles I see in these pictures!
Okay, huge blog post time. I have to lead with this image because I love it so, so much. It’s hard to pick one image to represent anyone’s entire wedding, but for this wedding, this is it for me.

Back to the beginning! Do you guys like it when I “narrate” posts by describing little things from throughout the day, or do you just gloss it over and just look at the pictures?! Anyway, I met Elizabeth at her mom’s house in Kenmore and was treated to seeing hair & makeup being done! Hair by Stacie Hennessy Kowalski (look her up on facebook or contact me for details!)

Peonies! Such a perfect choice. Seasonal AND beautiful.

It cracked me up that they had to use a rope to lower the dress from the upstairs to the downstairs. Photo op!

After this picture it got a little serious and stone-faced as Elizabeth and her sister Julie were both trying not to cry! Seeing her dad see her as a bride for the first time brought a tear to my eye too!

After Elizabeth got her dress on, I drove over to the church (St. John’s in Kenmore). Beautiful church! It became my most often photographed church (5th wedding there!).

Look at these smiles, and they just didn’t stop all day!

Elizabeth and her sister went to the school at St. John’s so they wanted a picture on the fire escape – memories!

We went over to the Buffalo Yacht Club, which is where RJ and Elizabeth met – they both love sailing and wanted to feature Elizabeth’s dad’s boat. I had never photographed anything remotely like this before and I felt like an idiot with my complete lack of knowledge of boat terms, but everyone was so gracious and patient and I even managed to get a few pictures with Jimmy’s eyes open (inside joke, haha). Seriously, I could have taken professional models down in there and not have been this happy with the pictures. You guys look so.amazing.

Then we went on to the Buffalo & Erie County Historical Society for the reception – amazing venue, perfect weather, and I couldn’t stop photographing the food!

Elizabeth’s best friend and bridesmaid Kate just had a baby, like weeks ago. She looked radiant!

Bridal version of the photo I took at the rehearsal!

Everything was just so amazing. The band (Party of Nine – http://www.partyofnine.com) was so awesome. I couldn’t stop taking pictures (good thing that’s my job).

Congratulations you guys! Your happiness has a ripple effect and I was grinning the whole time I was getting your post together. Have a great honeymoon!
