Matt & Tina had a beautiful wedding inside Pearl Street’s Webb Building. The soft lights and sheer curtains paired with some bright flowers and even brighter smiles brought some warmth to what would otherwise have been a chilly and damp fall afternoon!
Tina got ready in one of the lofts upstairs – so convenient and nice light! A friend came and did all the girls’ hair right there on-site.
If you notice in the bottom right, they had to keep telling her niece “Nice hands. Gentle hands.” She was excited but didn’t really quite get the importance of not tugging on or walking across Tina’s dress.
I loved all the flowers (by Williams Florist) and especially Matt’s bright boutonniere!
Matt & Tina had a “first look” so that we could go do pictures before the ceremony. Her gift to him was a Gallifreyan pocket watch (look it up, haha) and I loved the lining of his suit, made by Bureau right here in Buffalo!!
We took both families up to Mirror Lake in Forest Lawn. It was a pretty chilly afternoon (temps hovering around 43-45 degrees) and it had rained all morning so we had to be careful about where we went, but thankfully the rain held off when we needed it to and we made it work! Okay, some participants were less cooperative than others.
She was trying so hard not to smile, poor kid.
Word to the wise – soggy, rain-soaked ground + excessive goose poop = ew. But gorgeous!
This pose was at the suggestion of Tina’s sister Pam – thanks Pam!
We drove back to the Webb Building where guests had already started to arrive for the ceremony.
Two of the three flower girls made it down the aisle unassisted. The ring bearer also had to be carried.
Matt got enthusiastic congratulations from his dad after it was official.
When both the bride & groom have fab footwear, you have to make sure to document it.
I loved their personalized decorations, including Winnie the Pooh, Wall-E and Eve, and a Tardis.
It was Tina’s grandma’s birthday, so everyone sang to her after dinner!
Their Wall-E and Eve cake topper was perfect.
The dancefloor was a busy place and everyone danced to a pretty wide variety of music!
She. Was. Thrilled.
Glad I caught this sweet moment.
Congratulations Matt & Tina – so happy for you guys! Loved everything about your wedding – the decor, your happiness, all of it!
