Kevin & Meaghan got married on June 4 and it was an absolutely beautiful day.
Kevin & Meaghan moved into an apartment at The Lafayette last summer, so Kevin & the groomsmen were able to get ready at home – but in the same building as Meaghan & the girls AND their reception!
One of the groomsmen was trying to learn to dance like Leonardo DiCaprio in Wolf of Wall Street for his entrance to the reception.
I went down to the 3rd floor corner suite where Meaghan & the girls were getting ready, and although she was still in the chair getting her hair done, Meaghan looked just radiant.
Some of the bridesmaids teared up when they saw her with her hair & makeup done.
There was a sweet moment as the maid of honor steadied the bride as her dress was buttoned up the back.
They got married at St. Michael’s RC Church just down Washington Street. The priest who performed the ceremony was the same priest who performed Kevin’s parents’ wedding 33 years ago!
I always love it when brides & grooms are relaxed and laughing together during the ceremony, and when the groom can’t help but fidget with his new ring.
After the church, we hopped in the limo with the intention of just going straight back to the hotel, but they had the limo for a full 90 minutes longer, so I told them they should drive around for a bit and relax. We hopped out (just the two of them and me) at Main & Tupper to get pictures in front of Shea’s and the “Buffalo Theatre District” sign.
Once we were back at the hotel, Meaghan’s dad & brothers brought down their sweet doggies for a few pictures in Lafayette Square.
Once we’d done all the pictures we wanted outside, we headed into the hotel so I could go get pictures of the Greenhouse Room decorated – it was perfect, with everything done in black, white, and gold.
They headed in to their reception with big smiles on their faces and those smiles stayed all night. P.S. If anyone needs a dentist, both Meaghan & Kevin are dentists, so is her father, and all of the people in the large group photo seen below! No wonder so many beautiful smiles!
Congratulations – your wedding was absolutely gorgeous. I’m SO glad you booked me way back in December 2014 in expectation of this day, and I hope it was all you wanted! Best wishes!!
