Jorgen & Deanna are so much fun (as evidenced by their engagement photos last summer), so in love, and my job is the best.
Deanna and Jorgen each got suites at Hotel Lafayette to get ready with their wedding party.
These shoes. Come on.
Jorgen gave Deanna three cards that day (one while she was at the salon, one while she was getting her makeup done, and one for right before she got dressed) and they were each so sweet!
Deanna’s grandmother gave her a piece of lace from her own wedding dress and a pin for the hem of her dress.
We rode a brand new Buffalo Trolley to the First Unitarian Church at Elmwood and West Ferry for the ceremony, where Jorgen & the guys were waiting.
Jorgen got the stone face right before the ceremony, as he waited to see Deanna come down the aisle. I’m not sure he breathed for a little bit.
Their ringbearer (Deanna’s cousin’s son) was adorable and so well-behaved!! (Hint: the ceremony was at 4 and he took a long nap right before it!)
That veil though. Seriously.
I won’t apologize for all the kissing pictures, but don’t worry – they aren’t all!!
Loved this vintage style poster they had made to display at their reception!
I freaking LOVE that they cut their cake together, like anyone does, then Deanna grabbed a piece and popped it in her own mouth while Jorgen was getting set. They did feed each other a piece after that, but I love that she just went ahead. I laughed out loud.
The dancefloor opened and everyone had a great time. Everyone loved the late night dessert buffet AND chicken wing/beef on weck buffet. Can’t go wrong!
I had such a blast and I am thrilled to have met you guys. I hope your honeymoon and your new home and all that life has in store for you are just what you’ve always wanted. Deanna, keep him on his toes and keep him laughing, and Jorgen, keep looking at her the way you look at her and I can’t wait to see where you are in another 6, 12, 48 years. Tillykke!
