Over the winter, I photographed Bryan & Jenna’s engagement session at Knox Farm State Park. We sent a bunch of emails back and forth trying to pick the perfect day because Jenna really wanted fresh snow. We managed to get a day where we actually got some snow falling as we finished the shoot! It was cold but perfect. Their wedding was thankfully 100% snow free – a couple raindrops fell just before the ceremony began but all festivities stayed dry and beautiful!
I met Jenna, her bridesmaids, and her mom at Hotel Lafayette where Jen from Salonagogo was getting them wedding-glam. Jenna’s mom kept making everyone laugh – “I’m the MOB, yeah you know me!” she said.
It was important to Bryan & Jenna to get their pictures done before the ceremony so that they could enjoy their cocktail hour with all of their family and friends, so we arranged a “first look” for them to see each other down along the edge of Hoyt Lake. The wedding party joined us and we got some pictures in a couple different locations in the park before Jenna needed to go inside to keep her dress a surprise for guests. Jenna’s nephew and niece and Byran’s nephew were the ring bearers and flower girl. Cuties!
The ceremony was very sweet and I loved the look on Bryan’s face as he watched Jenna walk down with her dad.
Down in Marcy Casino, the tables were set and the room looked beautiful. Love that they have this lit sign for behind the sweetheart table!
Bryan’s brother and Jenna’s sister each gave a toast, as well as Jenna’s mom & dad.
Toy Bros kept the dance floor moving and the photo booth was a big hit with guests of all ages! I thought about sneaking in there myself, to get an updated “ussie” of me with my gear, haha! From cowboy hats to a little Magic Mike performance, I’m sure this reception was fun til the end!
Congratulations you two – I hope you loved your wedding and had a great time on your mini-moon in Ellicottville, such a perfect time of year for it! Wishing you both all the best!
