Newborn Ethan – 11 days old | Buffalo Newborn Photography
Ethan was born last week at just over 10 lbs – a big boy! I was happy to see first time parents Tiffany & Dave, just barely a year after I shot their wedding last September. Here are a few pictures from this afternoon:
Tiny Olivia – 6 days old!
Three newborns in four days? Yes, it’s true. I am a rockstar. Today I drove to Erie to see baby Olivia. The problem was she didn’t seem too happy to see me. When I suggested she might take off her several layers of clothing for some pictures, she said, “Lady, you must have me confused with some other baby.” It was not happening. After several hours of cuddling and shushing and swaddling and nursing and diaper changing and more cuddling and shushing, I finally came to terms that it was not going to be a standard newborn shoot and I took a different approach. I hope they still convey Olivia’s sweetiepieness!
And we can’t forget big brother Gus, who did a very nice job!
Congrats, Jeff & Emily – sorry it didn’t go awesome, but I hope you love the pictures anyway!
Two boys = Look out Maloney family!
Today I had the pleasure of visiting my friends Heidi & Tyler to photograph their second baby, Brixton. I photographed Heidi & Tyler’s wedding back on 7/7/07, and have photographed big brother Declan a whopping 6 times since his birth almost 3 years ago! Unfortunately Declan was not feeling the love for baby Brixton and I was not able to get any photos of them together, but as Heidi said, his whole world just changed 6 days ago, so what can you do.
Here’s a sampling of our ~3 hours together!
And just for hahaha, here’s Declan totally stealing the show while I tried to take a few pictures of the nursery!
