I know I didn’t get to “Wendy Wednesday” the past two weeks because I’ve been so busy, so here’s a ginormous post to make up for it.

As any regular readers know, we take our son to Becker Farms in Gasport every October. Here are some past posts: Becker Farms 2010 and Becker Farms 2009 (which encompasses some pictures from 2007 and 2008)

This year we went on a Sunday afternoon because the weather was great – totally didn’t occur to me that going on a weekend would mean there would be 1,000 other people there too. Whoops. Well, it’s a 35 minute drive so I wasn’t about turn turn around and go home so I made lemonade. Or maybe cider or wine would be more appropriate drinks. Anyway, my sweetie.

He’s mine. He’s all mine, and you can’t have him. I’m sorry, I know how jealous you are. However, just remember he is also mine when he’s doing this, when all I want is for him to just stand still and look at me.

Because it was a madhouse, we never found the “Sweetest Fruit” sign. Maybe they didn’t have it out this year. We did find the “How Tall This Fall?” sign but unfortunately they had it really poorly placed, so that it wasn’t even with the ground, making the height reading pretty inaccurate. I can assure you he is taller than he was last year. Oh well, this ain’t science.

Also, the pumpkins were ridiculously picked over, so we didn’t get any pictures with the pumpkins while we were there. We did get these pictures though:

We changed his clothes so he could actually, you know, enjoy Becker Farms.

I super, super wish I had taken some shots of how many people were everywhere. The place was seriously packed. You’d be so much more impressed with these images if you could see what I was working with!! Haha. Anyway, this is my baby. He’s 4 1/2, and he’s wonderful.
