I hadn’t photographed a wedding at St. Bonaventure since 2006, and that day there was rain, so I didn’t get to fully experience the beauty of the campus. All I can say is “Wow.” RIT needs to get some ivy going!
I met Michelle & her parents and bridesmaids at the hotel across the road and watched as they cut & wrapped their own bouquets, got Michelle dressed, and drank a mimosa toast. When Michelle got her dress on and popped through the top, someone shouted, “It’s a girl!”

The chapel there is a bit unconventional, but I love all the natural light!

I think this was the first time I’d ever seen a bride peek over her bouquet at the groom before… or seen a dad give the groom a thumbs up for that matter!

After the ceremony, we hit the campus grounds for photos. Everyone had great ideas for fun pictures – thanks guys!

We headed into Hickey Dining Hall for the reception – I loved the big windows right along the dance floor!

They took a little bow/curtsy at the end of their first dance: adorable.

Two of the most emotional parent dances I’ve seen in a while!

I’ve already gone over my limit of 20 pictures, so I’ll end with the Bona alumni photo. In my experience, people from St. Bonaventure are very proud to say so!
