Stefan & Molly – June 19, 2010
Last summer, I met Molly at Renee & Justin’s wedding on Grand Island, and soon after she emailed me about her wedding at Boldt Castle in the 1,000 Islands! Having visited the area only once, at least 7 years ago, I was excited about getting the chance to go back again, and as a photographer this time!
The sky threatened rain, but everyone’s hair & makeup stayed intact without the need for umbrellas, and the ceremony went on as planned at the stone gazebo! Gorgeous, gorgeous setting. After allowing guests time to tour the castle while we did some pictures, we went on an hour-long boat tour around the islands, then on to the Edgewood Resort for dinner and dancing! I know, yak yak yak… here are the pictures!

Congratulations to a fun couple – you are uniting two very loving families, and you are very lucky to have such a great base to continue building your future. Best of luck to you both!
Have I ever mentioned I love the Knox Farm?
Today I reconnected with Danielle, whose wedding I photographed back in 2007. Her son just turned two yesterday, so I met them down at the Knox Farm in East Aurora (I brought the balloons, she brought the cupcake cones) to do a shoot with her little man, Ty! I didn’t want her to have to wait the whole weekend to see pictures, so here is a sneak peek of two before I leave for my 1,000 Islands wedding…

Phil & Kelly – June 12, 2010
This past Saturday, I was in my car by 8:35am, driving to Fairport to meet Phil & Kelly before their 11am wedding at Casa Larga Vineyards. The entire way there I was hoping that the weather forecast was wrong, that the rain would hold off, and that I’d get to shoot in the vineyard. The humidity was about 98%, and the ceremony had to be moved indoors due to the threat of rain, but people were still able to enjoy a very nice indoor-outdoor mid-day reception, and I got to shoot in the vine rows!

When we went down into the vineyard, Kelly’s brother Mark really gave it his all:

Then was either cooling down or showing off his dapper vest afterward:

Indoors we had a nice meal, a bit of cake, and a huge lot of dancing before I said goodbye.

I’ll leave you with three words:
IT’S RAINING MEN

Congratulations, and have a wonderful honeymoon… hopefully you’re somewhere sunny!
