My sample album is here!
I am excited to offer flushmount albums for the first time – visit FORBEYON for more info to satisfy your curiosity.
Now I just have to find time to design another sample so I can have a variety to show, but seriously, this thing is great and I can’t wait to show it to people who are interested!
Pat & Heather – June 25, 2010
On Friday I went to Samuel’s Grande Manor to photograph Pat & Heather’s evening wedding and other than the fire siren that punctuated the end of the ceremony (I really hope someone got that on video!) everything seemed to go as planned! The ceremony was sweet, dinner was great, and I may have gone home reeking of cigar smoke, but it was with good reason.

Heather’s dad’s toast made Heather cry… and lots of the guests… and me!

Soundtrack for this photo: “Push It” (Salt-n-Pepa)

Congrats, guys – it was fun! Any night where the best man gives a toast that involves fake chest hair and ripping his shirt off mid-speech is a good night. Hope he saved that for you so you can treasure it always.
David & Michelle – June 26, 2010
I celebrated my 6th summer wedding anniversary with David & Michelle, photographing their wedding in Batavia, NY! I say “summer anniversary” because my husband and I got married “for real” on Feb. 28, 2004 with just our parents and pastor, but then got married again on June 26, 2004 with all of our friends & family present. It was nice to be able to do it that way! Much less stressful.
Anyway, enough about me though!
Let’s start out their pictures with this waterfall, in Holley. We had to drive an hour round-trip to get to this place, but isn’t it awesome? The answer is yes.

Okay, back to the beginning. Michelle (and I think several of the bridesmaids) wore handmade jewelry that fit the feel of the day just perfectly!

We got up to the waterfall in Holley and a damselfly landed on Dave’s hand!

We drove back to Batavia to the Sacred Heart Social Center, where we were greeted by family touches at every turn… Michelle’s dad made the lamp posts and strung the lights around the dancefloor, and Michelle’s mom made the cakes!!

When the dancing got underway, there was never a lull – not once! I was shooting non-stop for the entire time I was there!

This is the answer to “How low can you go? Can you go down low? All the way to the floor?”

The bouquet catch was one of the best I’ve seen, at least from a photography standpoint!

When the DJ got out props for “YMCA” it was just plain magical. To Michelle’s sister and her friend – I hope the last photo doesn’t embarrass you because I think it’s awesome!!

Thank you for a fun day, a really fun reception, and for making me aware of Raspberry Swirl Hershey Kisses! Plus, my husband enjoyed the pizza I brought home!
Congrats, and enjoy your honeymoon!
